Dryness is the measure of ‘wear and tear’ on the body and a cardinal sign of aging. “Dry is old, oily is young.” Baby fat is the plump picture of youth, but dryness shrinks tissues as in a ‘shriveled raisin.’ Dryness highlights wrinkles and effects of aging on the skin. Chronic dryness is irritating to tissues causing heat and inflammation. Although dryness can come from dehydration and astringency, classic dryness refers to the roughness associated from lack of fats. I read a quote last night I thought I would share since the New Year is coming up – and many of you are setting new goals for 2013 and looking for a “fresh beginning.”
If you are experiencing a plateau in your fat loss, it is wise to evaluate your eating, drinking, sleeping, and exercising habits. Today being Friday – what better day to evaluate whether or not alcohol consumption is causing you fat loss plateau.
Many ‘dieters’ or people aiming to shed fat experience muscle loss. This is somewhat an inevitable process (simply due to how our hormones respond to changes in diet and exercise) but the severity in which muscle is ‘lost’ can be controlled.
I eat fairly low carb diet so shouldn’t I be losing more fat?

Pizza, bread, french fries, frapaccinos, chocolate…

Something we don’t ever think about is how we walk…. ofcourse, why would you think about it?
